The BoilerWave Hestia model, designed for both hot water and central heating, utilizes advanced microwave and thermal storage technology. This design eliminates the need for a pressure and temperature relief valve and, consequently, any discharge pipework. It effectively bypasses the requirement set by Part G Building Regulations, which prohibits connecting a discharge pipe from an unvented cylinder into the soil stack.
Domestic hot water is generated via a highly efficient plate heat exchanger. As hot water is demanded, cold mains water is instantaneously heated as it passes through the heat exchanger and is delivered to the taps. This method of water heating completely removes the risk of Legionella. The innovative design also simplifies installation and ongoing maintenance for the installer.
Unlike unvented cylinders, BoilerWave microwave boilers do not require any annual maintenance. They offer a groundbreaking solution with zero greenhouse gas emissions, significantly contributing to the UK’s decarbonization efforts. By replacing traditional gas boilers, these systems have the potential to reduce the UK’s annual CO2 emissions by up to 18%.
With an embodied carbon footprint estimated to be as low as 2.35 tons of CO2, BoilerWave boilers have one of the lowest carbon footprints throughout their entire lifecycle. They are capable of saving and preventing up to half a gigaton of carbon emissions annually.

Providing on-demand, mains pressure hot water delivery, the BoilerWave range incorporates high-performance fusion transfer technology phase change material.
BoilerWave microwave boilers are up to ten times smaller than thermal store hot water cylinders they replace because of our special formula, which retains heat up to ten times better than water.
